Clicker training is a method where you use a small device called a clicker, to signal when the dog does what you want him to do. As soon as the dog sits (if you're trying to teach a sit), you click and then give the dog a treat. After a few repititions of this, you can add a name to the action and in a short time, your dog will sit on command.
